Lady's Island Marina is situated on Lady's Island in the City of Beaufort, SC, just across the swing bridge from the historic downtown area. The marina is on Factory Creek, a tidally influenced deep-water side channel feeding into the ICW/Beaufort River. The above photo of the ICW/Beaufort River, swing bridge, and downtown Beaufort was taken from the marina. There are five docks containing over 70 wet slips including hundreds of feet of face dock. We have a 2500 sf building overlooking the marina that provides table space exclusively for our guests' boat projects (at no charge). The marina office is generally open seven days a week (the Dockmaster lives onsite). Everyone loves the scenery. The predominant view is a vast expanse of salt marsh/spartina grass that attracts ocean birds, fish, a few gators, waterfowl, and dolphin. The marina property includes 2.2 acres of uplands covered by massive oak trees festooned with spanish moss and palm trees. Dockside Restaurant is also on the property and has been one of the most popular restaurants in Beaufort for years. Another longtime favorite restaurant/hangout is within a few hundred yards: The Fillin' Station.
The 3-story Boathouse is built over the water and houses the Dockmaster's office, restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, boater's lounge, and marina store. There are several businesses in the Boathouse including some you may want to check out including Journey Marine Canvas, One Yoga Sanctuary, Point South Realty, Lady's Island Marina Store, and massage therapy. See Amenities for details. In 2019, a 2-bedroom AirBnB unit was opened onsite to provide the marina lifestyle to visitors with or without boats. The immediate neighborhood has just about every kind of store (grocery, drug, hardware, liquor, etc), numerous medical providers, restaurants from fast food to sit down and everything in between. Downtown Beaufort is 1.1 miles away. For more info see the Home page, and the neighborhood map in Amenities.
